The Christening
Christen:
1a) to baptize into a Christian Church
1b) to give a name to at baptism
2a) to name: Chritsened the kitten "Snowball"
2b) to name and dedicate ceremonially: Christen a ship
3) to use for the first time: Christened the new car by going for a drive
So I christen this blog of mine "Garre’s". The first time I ever heard of Garre was when my aunt called me so, a long long time ago, when the memories you have of those times are usually covered in white fog. Well at least my memories of those times are usually covered in white fog. If yours don’t have any white fog, don’t worry its probably because the fat in my system cogging up the brain. So eat lots of fatty stuff to get the special effects. Back to the story. She was just pulling my leg by corrupting the pronounciation of my name to Gar-ray instead of Gar-ri. Of course, Gar-ray is spelt as Garre. Think it is French. So here we are. Just a special touch to make my blog a bit more unique than all those Gary’s blog out there on the web. Hey, what can I say, I like being unique.
